Disneyland (Day Two)

The kids had a fabulous time meeting all of the characters. We saw so many, and they got so many signatures on their shirts that they were in Cartoon Heaven!

We were able to go on Splash Mountain twice in a row...it was amazing!

Our Disney Break

After spending a day at California Adventure & a day at Disneyland we decided to take a break and just hang out at the hotel. It was a fun day...we even had a pizza/donut party in our hotel room, but before that we took advantage of swimming in the warm California sun. Ben was slightly terrified of the water and clung quite hard to us or the wall. The wall was his best friend.

The night before at Disneyland I came across this adorable Minnie carmel apple. Isabelle & I were highly delighted with it! I still can't get over how stinkin' cute it is!!!!

And then I ate the ears....(insert evil laugh here)

That Minnie sure is tasty. We all got to nibble on her and we thought she was quite delicious.

Some Questions for You...

*Why is Funfetti cake so delightfully delicious? Is it the sprinkles?

*Why do I have random gray hair & I am only 29???

*Why do I think it is funny when I fart, but seriously gag when others do it?

*Why do I have to deal with "unique" guests at work? It should be mandatory for crazies to be locked up.

*Why do I want to become a teacher when there are quite a few kids out there that just annoy the living daylights out of me?

*Why do I have to take College Algebra if I am only going to be teaching addition & subtraction?

*Why is deli sliced ham so good????

*Why am I so lazy that I don't want to take a shower today?

*Why am I so excited that I am baking a Funfetti cake right as I type this? (Seriously..the sprinkles!)

*Did you know that weevils enjoy Reese's peanut butter cups?

*D0 you know how wickedly excited I was to call Matt at work to tell him about the weevils knowing he ate 2 of those peanut butter cups the night before?

*How do you crack an egg into a bowl with one hand and not get shell crackles everywhere and goop all over your hands? (For the love of humanity...Ashleigh share your secret!!!)

*Why do I ask so many questions?

Disneyland (Day One)

We got to go into Disneyland an hour before the public, although probably 5 million people also got in...but it's all good. Because we got in early we were able to get on the Star Tours ride in a relatively short amount of time. The ride had been redone & it was way cool! I loved that it was a whole new adventure.

Autopia is always a must when we visit. The kids aren't quite big enough to drive by themselves yet, so they steer & Mom and Dad drive.

We didn't get too many good pictures, but I have a video of the fight, plus Isabelle fighting Darth Maul. They were both amazing Jedi's!

Here Pluto is signing their shirts. I made them these shirts because they LOVE to get the characters autographs and I figured this way they could wear this souvenir.

We only had time for a photo, so we ended up getting her autograph the next day we went.

Later that night we met up with Stephanie and Kirk and had dinner with them. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them. I am curious how they managed to get out of being in a picture.

And if you are curious about the clothing change that Ben & I had, it was because we took a break in the middle of the day and went to the hotel and took a nap. It was much needed!
