Pictures that make you wish you knew how to crop...

Here is Ashleigh the picture of cuteness riding Hank (her fab longboard). This was taken last summer.
Ashleigh needs a caption...please help....love ya!
I will be awaiting your responses....
(Isn't she SO adorable? She is on her way to buy shaved ice. Riding Hank and eating shaved ice at the beach....ahhhh...that is happiness.)

Kick off your shoes and relax for awhile...

So I was about to go to bed tonight. I went in my room and looked on the ground and saw these:
I LOVE how little Ben's feet are. It just made me smile to see his shoes haphazardly lying on the floor.....then I left my room to turn off lights and discovered....

Ben's boots on the floor in the craft room...

Matt's sandals on the floor in the front room...

Ben's sandal, Ben's church shoe, and Isabelle's school shoe on the floor by the back door....
(I almost moved Erin's picture because I didn't want her to think that we don't love her & so we throw her picture on the ground. The truth is my kids LOVE her and carry her picture with them and I find it in random places...like the back door. So I left it there so they would be able to find it.)

My pink slipper, my flip flops, and my workout shoes...(come on, say it with me) ON THE FLOOR in my bedroom...

Isabelle's sparkly shoes (on my caboodle) and my cute Roxy shoes Ashleigh bought me on the floor in the bathroom...

Matt's shoes on the floor in the corner of the living room...
(Granted he puts them here everyday when he comes home from work and I really don't mind. I kinda like that he has a spot to "kick off his shoes" when he comes home.)

Isabelle's shoes on the floor in the hallway...

And last, but not least, my shoes that I kicked off when I came home from work, lying in the middle of the living room...ON THE FLOOR!
Ok and I am a liar...those were not the last, but not least shoes on the floor. There were also my boots on the floor in my bedroom, and my brown Roxy slip-ons on the floor in the living room...but I can only take so many pictures folks!)
Ummmmm....me thinks the Robertson's have a problem not putting there shoes away!
So now you know our secret....what is yours????
What do you leave lying around? C'mon! There has to be something!

So many questions and so little answers

Sooo....
My 16 year old neighbor had a baby last summer. Their family is slightly disfunctional and so sad to say, but I like to stay as far from them as I can, it's hard since they live next door. The police have visited their house...on occasion...and mainly for the teenage girl. It is just sad to see them living in all their craziness. And apparantly the mother, who is single herself, had her baby(the now teenage mother) when she was super young too. Oi Vay! It is just all kinds of complicated!
Sooo....
Ben wants to know why she has a baby if she is only a teenager, and isn't married.
I tried to satisfy him with the answer "Because she made a bad choice." Yeah only it didn't satisfy him and now he's asking ALL kinds of crazy questions about it.
How the heck do I respond to why she's not married and why she had a baby and why the daddy doesn't live with the baby and why was it a bad choice and why and why and why????????????????
Seriously people! Help a mother out!

Monte L. Bean Museum

So I sorta blogged about this & then decided to not be too lazy and so I will post these pictures. Seriously I wasn't going to cause I am LAZY! But I figured I don't have to pick up Ben from preschool for another 10 minutes and I needed to kill some time. Now that I have posted them i am glad cause they are really fun!
Here we are on BYU campus at the Monte L. Bean Museum! This is a giant Bear. That is all it was called from what I remember. Apparently it can take years for people to find them. I might be wrong with this info, but you can google it or just believe me. So it was standing on a 1 foot platform! Have you met Matt? He is TALL! 6ft 2in to be exact. And he looks like a shrimpo compared to this monster! INSANE!!!

Isabelle & cousin Maddie. With the African animals. My favorite is the huge elephant!

They happened to have a reptile show and so the kids got to touch a huge snakeskin.

And also this lizard from Australia. I don't remember what he is, but his name is Colonel Mustard. Isabelle looks worried, but she really thought it was cool. I even touched the snake, wasn't going to, but all of a sudden the lady was there holding the snake in front of me & because I didn't want to run screaming and embarrass my kids I touched it. It felt pretty cool too. Not slimy at all.

Here is my favorite picture. Isabelle is posing with the collage of butterflies. They are both so pretty =)

Hi

I am tired....so not much to report on.
We went to the Monte L. Bean museum last Saturday with Jordan & Abby's family. It was very cool. Lots of dead animals....but if you just kinda forget they are dead it is not so creepy. They have an elephant, liger (no that isn't a typo, it truly was a liger), tons of different deer, tons of bears, zebra, tiger, monkey, a couple lions.....you get the picture I'm sure. Plus it is totally free! It's located on BYU campus just FYI.
We also went to Salt Lake and had dinner at Seth's apartment. His girlfriend Suzanne threw him a little party. So cute! She even made this awesome spiderman cake. I might need to hire her for Ben's next birthday!
Matt and I gave talks on Sunday. I ended up speaking a very long time and gave Matt only a few minutes to speak. Usually I plan my 10 min talk and it gets shortened to 5 cause I speak too fast. So I really don't know what happened.
Ben got new shoes today.
Isabelle got her second H1N1 shot at school and wanted me to be there. So I took the 6 month old and 22 month old that I babysit and we went and held Isabelle's hand. I could not in good conscience let her do it alone when she pleaded with me to be there. If she was older I would say buck up...but she is only six.
The End
