I don't understand why BYU hates me so much

So I am taking a math class online through BYU. I have been very hopeful & excited and feel this is the way to go to complete this class.

Well I think I have just shot myself in the foot.

I was reading over the course syllabus tonight and everything is hunky dory....then I looked at the exam section....NO CALCULATORS ALLOWED!

What the What???

Whoever heard of taking a math test without a calculator? Not even a regular Joe Shmo calculator is allowed.

I think I am going to pass out.
